The hidden W-227 electric dog fence includes an underground wire that creates a roaming area of up to 5.5 acres for your dogs. A receiver sounds a warning tone when your dog approaches the boundary and emits a static correction if go further, while run-through prevention technology helps prevent dogs from passing through the containment field, which is a reliable, cost-efficient pet containment system to train your dog naturally seek to avoid correction and stay within established boundaries where you limited.

How does it work?

A buried wire transmits a harmless radio signal, and you can set the range of motion by the wall-mounted transmitter sensitivity. When the dog approaches the boundary, the signal causes the dog’s collar receiver to deliver a warning beep first, then shock until the dog goes back to the area you set up.

How to install the system?

Step 1: Find 2 heads of wire and test whether the transmitter and collar works properly;

Step 2: Design your containment area and calculate the amount of wire needed;

Step 3: Install the wall transmitter;

Step 4: Layout the perimeter wire;

Step 5: Connect the perimeter wire to the wall transmitter;

Step 6: Verify transmitter is functioning without a problem;

Step 7: Set up the receiver and then, test the containment system and adjust the field width;

Step 8: Install the boundary wire and training flags;

Step 9: Fit collars to your dogs and train your dogs.

Note: we recommend the collar be worn for less than 8 hours per day.
